Hi there I love all these videos! I am from CA and have Disney passes here, but we are making a Fl trip in November and looking for some advice. My daughter wants to do Slinky Dog, but my son is too small for it. There isn’t a ton we want to do otherwise at HS that we can’t do in CA, but is there a good way to park hop Magic Kingdom and HS and assure we get onto Slinky Dog? Is it doable to park hop those 2 parks?

It sounds like technically my wife and I could take the trip for $577.94 + food, drink, and lift rides. So all and all it could be $1,500-2,000?

This video sounds more like you had bad timing and apparently just had a normal "post hurricane" lodging situation. Most of this video is about all the fun you had. The company charged you exactly what you were told you'd have to pay for. The excessive fees ended up happening because you kept delaying, they had problems after the hurricane, and when you FINALLY got to go you had fun. You really should change the video title to "we had problems getting our vacation going, and then we had fun".

Here is a few tips of my own. 1. There are multiple short cuts and bypasses around the park. Not interested in sesame street? Take a separate path around the shamu stadium near the lake. Have a wheelchair or eve and you don't want to do the dolphin pass? There is a separate way around that. There is multiple ways to get to some attractions near the front of the park. 2. Need to get wet fast near the front of the park but do not want it to be salt water? The water splash down by Atlantis is a fast way to get soaked immediately without any wait. 3. Although it is a sad thing to say, there are quite a bit of manatees that show up at the manatee research station in the spring and summer. Since sea world does a lot of animal rehab you may be able to spot a few new arrivals once in a while. The babies are especially adorable. 4. The seals and sea lions closest to the feed station are typically the first targets for people to feed but there is a lot of seals and sea lions that prefer to hang out in other areas. If you want to be a hero and not get swamped immediately trying tossing fish at other spots in the habitat. They will absolutely love you for tossing them some fresh food so you may get some really good pictures. 5. The best tours to take at the parks are typically the last tours of the day as the hosts are always running tight schedules during the earlier tours so if you are the last crew then they tend to allow you more time to take photos and ask questions. 6. Speaking of tours, want to do some for free? If you go in january during a specific period there will be several mini tours you can take through many backstage areas of the park. There is even a free chance to interact with the dolphins if you get there early enough to reserve a spot. The tours are all first come first serve so prioritize based on what you are most interested in seeing.

I've lived in Florida for over 40 years, 1st off the Racing at Daytona is Great, very expensive, but still fun. Now going to the Beach is a whole different story. The Beach itself is usually dirty and crowded...up on the Boardwalk always has places blocked off by barriers because something is broken down...and sometimes they stay that way for months (and it's only a 2 day fix). Don't eat there unless your starving...FDA has closed down so many of the Pop-Up Restaurants, and they keep Popping up under a different Name...that they don't even bother anymore. Save your money...buy a baby pool, fill it up, splash around and then fire up your own grill.

Margaritaville are just really old decommissioned ships they buy cheap from Royal Caribbean and repaint it. I’d never go on one of these ships. Also, these are a drunken mess, probably not the best to take kids on.

My "free" trip is in August. I got everything paid for and I'm excited non the less. I'm glad I found your video. It helped with knowing what to expect.

Love the videos from you guys! First time commenting, & I never comment on UA-cam, but am trying to do more of it to support the channels I enjoy, & I'm starting with you guys. We took our 3 year old & 11 month old to Disney for the 1st time this past January. We showed some POV ride videos to our 3 year old before we went, & he gave a thumbs up for Haunted Mansion, & a thumbs down for Pirates. I was still a bit skeptical as we waited in line for Haunted Mansion, but he actually started laughing out loud at the end of the stretching room segment. We only rode the ride once, but it must have left a lasting impression, because he has asked to watch the POV video on repeat for months. He said he wanted a Haunted Mansion birthday party this year, but I told him it might scare his guests. There's never a dull moment with littles! Also, what a cute thumbnail for this video!

I’m binge watching your videos. Your kids are so smart and Piers talks like a school age boy. Do you watch any of Ali and Michael’s videos at GroundedLife? The give great advice on how to grow your UA-cam channel. Their story of how they got started is really interesting. Keep up the good work.

My grandfather and most of his ancestors were from Mt Airy! My great-great grandfather worked at that granite quarry. Really want to check it out for myself someday.
